We were going to stay at the Palazzo in February and were advised to wait a few months until all the kinks of a new hotel are worked out. They are. This was one of the best trips to Las Vegas (and no, we didn't win any money) The rooms are configured a little different than the Venetian; the sleeping area seemed larger & the living area a little smaller. The baths are idential. All the elevators were working and there were no waits. The ventilation system is fantastic. They are still working on some of the pools and cabanas and there is still some construction going on in the front of the building but still beautiful! Can't wait til our next trip!

This illusion of a five star resort should be avoided at all costs. My check in was a nightmare. It took one hour and 15 minutes before I had a room key in my hand. Front desk person and female manager were insulting and difficult to work with. I had a minor problem and instead of looking for a solution they took great pleasure in telling me that the problem could not be solved and that I should have booked at another hotel. This mind you after my company had paid for the rooms three weeks in advance. In room service personnel were great, to bad the food was not.

Just got back from my first stay at the Palazzo. It was great! The rooms were spotless and as described on the web site. ALL of the employees were friendly. We did not encounter even one rude or unhelpful staff member. No problems whatsoever with room charges or rates. We chose the Conceriege Bella View Suite. It was a bit pricey but includes use of the conceriege lounge with open bar and snacks.(Open bar means all of the drinks are free and snacks are served throughout the day...fruit, cheeses, finger foods). The lounge is on the 23rd floor and consist's of several large rooms with comfy and cozy sitting places. It is a quiet and beautiful sanctuary after battling the seething masses of people out on the strip. The package also included a 75.00 spa credit per day at the Canyon Ranch Spa- which was also fab! Little things that I remember about our stay.....fresh flowers in the bathroom every day, the bed, which was soft and comfy, the complimentary loufa sponge in the shower, the electronic draperies and the view from our room. Our package also included a Limo to and from the airport. The Palazzo Hotel is located between the Venetian and the Wynn hotel and is convenient to all of the other hotels on the strip and to the Fashion Show Mall, which is across the street. This was a Mother/Daughter vacation and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves and felt very safe staying at this hotel.
