I recently booked at The Palazzo and it confirmed why it is my only lodging choice in Las Vegas. Pros: Customer service is world class. Despite the resort being fully booked with a blue-chip IBM convention, I fell to my knees when I entered my suite and discovered I had been upgraded to a 1,400 square foot Siena Suite! Words do not do justice,Shock and Awe to enter the suite and see a private gym, a guest bath and flawless views of the strip from the 46nd floor. Electric drapes in both the living room and master bedroom - you can spend HOURS enjoying this feature. Great lighting - even though a Green property the lighting was awesome. This is not the case with Trump or The Hotel which I have stayed before. Color Printer - No other resorts offer complimentary state of the art printer/fax machines. This was especially handy in printing critical work and travel documents. Slot-machines - Both abundant and GENEROUS! A reverse ATM. Casino service - I never waited more than two minutes for a drink, Housekeeping - AWESOME! How they arrange your personal items is masterful. And a request (with generous tip) resulted in an abundance of designer soaps. Complimentary gift basket - This was a total surprise.

Don't expect much when it comes to customer service from the front desk staff and manager Scott. They love to bill but when it comes time provide any type of requested service you'll be infor a surprise. When we arrived, they said they did not have a room for us that we had made a reservation for, and this was at 9 pm! We then had to take another room, at the same price, and move to another room the next morning when it became available. Then when we misplaced one of the restaurant vouchers that were given out they would not print us another one or even provide us with a discount at one of their own restaurants, even though it was only for 20 bucks. This place is just way too overpriced for what you get. The pool area is nothing like some of the other 5 star hotels on the strip. more like a holiday inn pool. and the nice section is actually closed all weekdays, though they don't tell you that beforehand.

The state of the suite was COMPLETELY unacceptable. Upon check-in, there was FECES remains in the toilet, the door handle to the bathroom was broken, the travel accessories kit was used, the pull out shelf in the night table between the two beds in the bedroom had candy remains & was filthy, the vanity mirror was broken in the bathroom, the top two left hand drawers in the bedroom bureau were broken (completely fell out & broke the skin on my wrist), the in-room dining book was filthy (literally had food stains all over the salad page), the entertainment book was broken & constantly falling apart & there was GARBAGE between the large gap in between the sofa & the granite separator between the bedroom & the living room that was obvious as it was a large enough gap that you could easily see the garbage in the space. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a two star hotel, let alone a supposed "luxury suite" hotel such as the Palazzo. We weren't even offered a suite change option or even some sort of compensation for what we had to endure. Even comping us for the drinks we charged to the room would have been something to show that they are a first class resort & they have the class & know-how to admit their mistakes & try to do right with a possible returning client. The fact that they charge what they did for the service they provided is DISGUSTING. I should have gotten paid for doing what is essentially the manager's job. It's not MY job as the client to come in & tell them everything that's wrong with their suite. If they can't handle the upkeep/maintenance of their "luxury" hotel perhaps they need to hire better overall staff.

Nothing but good to say. The Palazzo is a beautiful hotel and the room was immaculate. Steps that go down into seating area of room actually creates a nicer view of the strip because it lowers the angle of the window - gorgeous! Large room, tiled & beautifully furnished. casino was great, Tony the pit boss gave beginner lessons to gaming each morning. Also check out Jersey Boys - one of the best shows you will ever see. Hotel is in the heart of the strip, easy to walk to many other properties.

We stayed at the Palazzo for 4 nights in October 2009. It surpassed our expectations! The room was wonderful! Huge, very clean, comfortable bed, and the most amazing bathroom! 3 Flat screen HDTV's in the room (including one in the bathroom to watch sportscenter while you get ready). The service in the hotel was top notch, very short wait to check in (approx 3 mins), greeted by name on the occasions when I called the front desk. We had a great view of the Wynn and the golf course. The pool was excellent, even though it was fairly busy, it still took no time to find a couple of lounge chairs. The restaurants in the hotel were all very good, we even ended up eating at Dos Caminos twice because it was so good! All in all, we were both very impressed with the hotel, and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
