Everything in this hotel is class act. But be warned that once your here everything is very expensive. A local call is $* from your room. Internet is $*/day in your room. I guess the reason for that is to keep you out of your room and in the casino. For food I recommend eating at the buffet. You can get a $*/day card and that was a very inexpensive way to go. The hotel itself it huge. It is joined to Mandalay Bay, which is joined to Luxor and Excalibur. But still a great sight seeing adventure to go on. I would stay here again. We walked from the Venetian to THEhotel and it took us about an hour and it was a very nice walk. Getting taxis is not a problem at all. There is no wait. There is a lineup of taxis just waiting to go someplace and it never ends.

For starts, don't expect a GRAND entrance from the strip into this hotel.. You are dropped off in the rear where the service employees and self parking garage is in the dark. Simply horrible if your excited about getting to your hotel! Hotel is beautiful inside, room views are not first come first serve but can PAY to reserve one! The gym is an extra $* per day per person & tubes for the beach are extra $* so bring your own. Winter hours are here so pool and gym time is very limited and PACKED! You can PAY to use the less crowded pool area. Very expensive to eat and drink at any location aprox $* for 2 beers. House of Blues had best prices and offered buy 1 get 1 free the next day with your receipt. VERY VERY long walk to center of the strip, use bus or shuttle ;which does not run all day; so time it right. Pools are a very long walk thru Mandalay Bay. Housekeeping polite but VERY SLOW... We were gone all day from 7am to 2pm and R room was still not clean. Walls are paper thin so pray you dont get put next to a loud couple who yell at each other all day as we did. Don't complain to the staff because they don't care!! Needless to say we won't return. I was very un-happy with this place as I have always been treated wonderful at the other places we have stayed. Oh yes no coffee pots in room and the staff think it's ok to come in and out of your room whenever they feel like it without knocking... Terrible Place we won't be back

I've stayed at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay three times in two years and can recommend it without hesitation. Not the cheapest place in town but well worth the slight additional cost over other, lesser hotels. The rooms are awesome and much bigger than comparibly priced rooms elsewhere and the bathrooms are fabulous (they give you top notch toiletries too). Being at the South end of the Strip it's quieter and less congested than places further north. Restaurants are a bit pricey but food quality is very good. Helpful hint: to access the casino and the restaurants inside Mandalay Bay, go out THEHotel into the parking garage, follow the sidewalk around to the left, and in a few moments you're inside Mandalay Bay - much quicker than going the long way around through THEHotel's walkway to Mandalay Bay. A bit of a walk to the tram to Luxor and Excalibur - take it and avoid the excessive smokiness inside Excalibur; your lungs will thank you. If you have a car, make life easier for yourself: use the valet parking (remember to tip the valet a few bucks). A nice touch: the rooms have a doorbell and electronic signs for "do not disturb" and to call for housekeeping. A negative: they should have security at the elevators to keep out unauthorized persons. I have never had any problems here, but use common sense going to and from your room, just like you would anywhere else, especially at night. Also, the elevators have TV's that bombard you with advertisements for current and upcoming events at the hotel - that's kind of cheesy (thankfully they conk out occasionally and you get to ride in peace). Overall, a great place to stay. Treat yourself and give THEHotel a try; you'll be glad you did.

The Hotel is a jewel in the madness of Las Vegas. The lobby is very contemporary and cool! The check in process was smooth. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The suites are large, beautifully appointed, and offer a haven of refuge if you are not into the crazy scene of gambling, etc. The Gym and Bathhouse Spa are fantastic. The restaurant choices are excellent. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Las Vegas.

I love staying at THEhotel. The rooms are great. The bathroom is the best part. The tub is gigantic! We don't usually eat at the Mandalay or use the pool. We gamble, shop, go to the spa, and soak in the tub in the room.
