The Hotel was a very relaxing environment. The Hotel was very clean, the staff was very attentive to detail. We had a 7:00 flight, and requested a late checkout. The staff accommodated us with a 1:00 checkout, and stored our luggage. The rooms are all suites. The bathrooms have a deep soaking tub, flat screen tv, and separate shower. The living room is separated by a door, and it has a flat screen tv, a bar and another private toilet area. I liked soaking, so I requested extra bath salts from my housekeeper, and was accommodated; she even left some for me to take home. If you tip well, you will be treated well. I liked that there was no Casino, so not a lot of smoke scents and noise. The Bath House and Fitness center closed the day we arrived (without notice), however for a $* day fee we were able to use the Mandalay Bay Spa. Note: Even if the Bath House was available, there would have been a $* a day fee The Spa facilities were awesome. They provide robe, slippers and locker: you can enter as many times during the day as you want. They served little mixed nut & raisin cups, fruit, juices and water in the morning and throughout the day. There are three plunge pools (cold, hot and warm - I think that's part of a Japanese ritual) Steam room, Dry Sauna and many "extra expense" Spa Treatments. This was a very relaxing "de-stress" vacation for me.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and beautiful. The bath tub is very deep and can easily fit two people. We got to the hotel at 11 am and were lucky to get a room right away. We were very pleased with the room. There was no resort fee either which was great. The only down fall is that you are a little ways from the pool, but it is worth the walk for the great room. Will Stay here again!

My husband and I had the absolute best experience at THEhotel! The suite was gorgeous - marble everywhere; flat screen in the restroom - able to watch TV while doing my hair, or taking a bath. We not only loved our room, but the service was outstanding as well. We have stayed at, at least 5 other hotels on the strip, and hands down THEhotel is our permanent choice - we will definitely be returning. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; from the Shark Reef Aquarium to the Lion King, it was the BEST!

The room was great, living room and bedroom 1 1/2 baths, 3 TV's very clean and quiet. We got into Vegas in the morning and got an early checkin. The suite was all top notch and even though it was a busy weekend (Halloween and a full moon, you can just imagine!) the room was really quiet and really comfortable. The only thing I would say that could improve the Mandalay is a mid-range restaurant where you could get a good breakfast and dinner without going overboard.

Obviously all the drinks and food are expensive but the food was wonderful and you can slip a dollar in a penny slot and get a free drink so that was fine. The room was absolutely beautiful! Every staff member we encountered were super sweet and completely helpful. We had a fantastic time. Just bring comfy shoes for the walking to and from the monorail, but well worth it!
