I was at the Wynn for a conference. This site beat out the conference price. At the hotel they upgraded me for $* a night to an upper floor room with floor to ceiling retractable curtains with a great view of the strip. Nice room, great bathroom with soaking tub. No complaints

Recently stayed at the Wynn and was not overly impressed. While the decor overall was lovely, rooms are in need of soundproofing. We could hear every word the people in the next room were saying, and whenever someone flushed the toilet it was heard throughout the floor. We ate in two of the hotel restaurants, and found the staff to be condescending and inattentive. Our waitress in Stratta never came back to see if we needed any more drinks, or refilled our water glasses. Our server in Okada never explained the menu to us, and when I ordered my dinner chose then to tell me that it was only a three ounce portion, and I might want to consider ordering something additional. Just tell me I am eating Japanese tapas and I can deal with that. Don't make me feel like an idiot because you didn't explain the menu. And don't nickel and dime me, paying for internet access. Come on this is 2010 not 1990. It should come standard with the room rate. We went across the street to Starbucks. I must say the concierge was very helpful, printing our boarding passes for us on the day we left. Overall we had a good time, but I don't know if I would pay to stay here again.

I have stayed at the Wynn/Encore 5 Times in the past year and each time I go the experience gets better and better! The hotel is clean and the staff are very attentive. The front dest was run very smooth. I was at the Encore for Steve Wynn's b-day last January with three friends and we all had blast. Wynn/Encore is the only hotel casino I wil ever give my business. This place is top notch!! Keep up the good work Mr. Wynn!

The Wynn was lovely and the food at every one of their restaurants, exceptional! I've never had good food in Vegas, no matter what the price, so this was a great surprise. The common areas of the Wynn are beautiful and classy. My only disappointment were the rooms themselves. They were not up to the rest of the look of the Wynn. The artwork was cheap and the room not very sumptuous. I much prefer the suite rooms at the Venetian. Speaking of the Venetian, the other great thing about the Wynn is that is right across a walking bridge from the Venetian, so you can easily access both. All in all, I enjoyed the Wynn, but might stay at the Venetian the next time and just cross the bridge for the food!

If you want a drink with a standard shot of alcohol stay away from the Wynn, They short pour every drink whether paid for or not. Any comp drink is basically a virgin "alcohol free" drink. They shrug their shoulders when mentioned. Sports book waitresses and personnel are the least friendly I have ever encountered. They do not remove empty glasses or plates. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Black Jack dealer totally ignored us as we sat down for a quick hand. Valet was friendly and helpful. Overall, stay away until ALL of their employees get the right attitude. Mr. Wynn it's time to get ALL of your employees heads on straight, get rid of the attitudes.
