the concept is great, but this place doesnt give a hoot after u pay and check in. ya, it has a kitchen, but no utensils? not one pan? just a basic kitchen would have been good. bugs were in the bathroom, the ceiling blower didnt work, and all of the lights were too dim:i couldnt read the ads they left on the table!! my 9 y.old couldnt go swimming bcuz the water in the pool was too cold!! the "bedroom" of this so called suite doesnt have any heat or a.c.:theres a 1930

I had a good stay at the Cameron location a few years back right after they purchased that location, so I thought I would try Emerald Suites again. The South LV Blvd suites are nothing fancy as they were one of lowest rates the week before Halloween on Travel online. The one bedroom was very clean. What amazed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was better than I got at the Venetian!! The only minor glitch was that their internet was out for a couple of hours until the local company showed up to fix the whole property. There is also a policy that doesn't allow late check outs, yet I'm able to understand that. I really like to have my own food to eat healty and when I want when I'm out of town on business, so I really do like the kitchen. Right after I checked in, an employee came by to make sure things were alright. Ten minutes later, Heather from the front desk called to make sure everything was in order. I don't know if I just had the luck of the draw with great employees or management has them on their toes with the recession, yet I was very impressed. I will definitely stay here again

We were very lucky to find the Emerald Suites, as we travel with our dog , "Emma" almost everywhere. It is always hard to find accomendations that take dogs. When we arrived they gave us a "Doggy Goody Bag" w/treats, chew toy and Doggie Bags. They gave us a room on the ground floor that leads out to a beautiful grassy area, which is very convenient for walking our dog. The room itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Full kitchen. TV in each room. Nice pool area. Everything you would need. They also have a shuttle that will take you to the strip. Looking forward to staying here again!

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Yes, the rooms need new carpet, but hey, given the price, it was a pretty good deal, especially during the National Finals Rodeo week. The room was clean and a great place to stay if you want a comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels and a refridgerator with a full-size freezer for your beverages. The room doesn't have enough dishes if you were cooking every night and you might want to bring yourr own paper towels and dishwasher soap. I would and have stayed again.

The hotel boasts of suites so you basically have a living room and a full kitchen complete with cooking and eating utensils. If you're on a budget, you might like to do some cooking of your own. The only downside is that it is about 6 miles off the main Vegas strip, so unless you have a car, you wouldn't want to stay here since they've stopped shuttling people to the main strip.
