we had the best time ever the hotel was convienent to locations, yet off the strip so it wasn't congested with people. just right. i could of stayed there the whole time and still had a great trip. good food, great bars, auwsume shops, and a fabulous room we did upgrade for a view of strip but it was soooooo worth it. when we walked out of our elevator everthing we needed was there! great shower! great bed! big clean room! also front desk very helpfull. all and all the rio will be the place to stay in all our future visits. F.Y.I. free show ever hour on the hour down in the lobby super hot dancers!!!!!!!

We had a terrific time with our stay... We opted to upgrade our Travelocity reserved room and we loved what we got... Check in was quick as was our departure. If TV is your thing this isn't the hotel for you-but then why Vegas? One word of warning-you must have printed tickets when you go to shows here. Box Office staff at Penn and Teller are unhelpful to resolve this issue...

This hotel is an amazing choce for accomodations off the strip. We encountered no problems checking in and there was no waiting. The rooms are wonderfully large and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is perfect with two sink areas and lots of counter space. Even the beds are more comfortable than the avarage hotel. The only problem we had was a delayed reaction from security when there were some very loud people talking in the halls after midnight. It is so easy to get to and from the strip through the convenient shuttle system. The hotel is not plush with lots of extras, but for such resonable prices that is understandable. It was comfortable and clean, and I will stay there again with pleasure, booking of course, through Travel online! PS Try the American Grill for lunch or dinner.

We had a king sized bed in a roomy suite. The price was excellent. The room was memorable with a great view. Wish we could have stayed extra nights here, but our schedule did not allow it. Overall, it was a great deal!

LAPTOP STOLEN

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, you have been warned! 1. check in is a joke......this is what you people do for a living, the least you could do would be to DO YOUR JOB 2. IT IT NOT ON THE STRIP SO DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME 2. the staff steals your belongings by breaking into your room. an unfortunate girl on our trip was...trusting enough to bring her new hp with her. the safe in the room is too small for computers and they did not offer us an alternative secure place to store it through the hotel. it was stolen on our second night by someone who had a key. the door was locked when we left (i checked) and OPEN when we got back. imagen my surprise as i ( a cute 26 year old girl) get back to my hotel room, alone, middle of the night, after my feet hurt too much to keep partying to an open door! even though they have security cameras all over the place and we could give a very detailed time period of tape to be reviewed, they refused our request. they sent some dip stick to our room, who after bumbling through a security report, left his KEYS in our room. i've to a picture to prove it! they gave us nothing for her stolen property, no upgrade, no free dinner coupons, nothing. the general consesus was, "you silly girls, this is vegas! what did you expect." next time i will be staying in a reputable hotel.
