great weekend
10/24/2010Room was clean ,very comfortable , was in the older part of the hotel , the hotel is doing some remolding, but one down fall was only 2 elevators on this wing ...
room was clean ,very comfortable , was in the older part of the hotel , the hotel is doing some remolding, but one down fall was only 2 elevators on this wing and only 1 was in operation, the service on the casino floor was very good the machines were paying and the drinks kept coming. , I recommend go have some fun.

07/31/2010Web did not fax my reservation to the hotel. i have to call to straight it out. after two hors i finally got checked in.

The bath tub was dirty (black with footprints) and when the housekeeper cleaned it the next morning she said it looked like it had not been cleaned, very hot in the elevator and hallways (the front desk was not suprised and said the hallways and elevators in the monterey tower was not air conditioned), no coffee pot or fridge in room ( was not offered either option), dirty ash tray under bed, smelled stail and old in hallways, horrible hotel buffet, had one pillow and was flat, asked for extra pillows and was told the limit was two when we had three guests, when we checked out we were treated rudely by the front desk employee. Was also given a smoking room and did not smoke (i have asthma). She also stated that if we book with companies like web there are no guaratee's. The purpose of my trip was to say goodbye to my dieing sister and it was a horrible experience at this hotel.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

We had rooms with 2 queen beds. The maids would only make one bed in each room, even though both were slept in. They did not empty the trash, did not replenish the coffee or the cups for the coffee maker or the water glasses. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE ROOM SERVICE! The food at Coco's was bad. We didn't eat until 10pm one night and they were out of half of their selections. The waiter took forever, the menus were old and falling apart. NOT A PLEASANT DINING EXPERIENCE. The boat parking is less then adequate. We had to park in the Colorado Belle parking lot, so plan on a 5 minute walk to get to and from your vehicle if you bring your boat. We will never stay at this hotel again.
