This was my first time staying at the Hooters Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. I wanted a hotel close the strip as I had friends staying at Luxor. Hooters was significantly cheaper and provided a room similar in decor and cleanliness to other hotels I've stayed in while in Vegas. Staff was very friendly. Elevators were quick to arrive. Casino area is smaller than that of other hotels but had the usually games you would expect to see at the others. Hotel appeared older than others in the area, as this was a different hotel before Hooters bought the building. Talent there was about what you would expect to see at the Hooters restaurants. They wore the same outfits but added a bow-tie to the mix. No complaints. Overall, very happy with the experience and would recommend it.

Very disappointing. No hand towels, no blanket on bed, bathroom sink didn't drain, carpeting dirty ;didn't take off my shoes;. My room was right by the elevators and across from the ice machine, and I would have gladly paid an additional $ for a nicer room. The rate was cheap, but the ratings gave it 3.5--no way!

The hotel was nice. Rooms were clean. I read a few reviews about it being noisey but I'm guessing they stayed in the bungalows by the pool. In the hoel they have the bay side and the ocean side. The bay side faces the pool and I'm sure judging by the night time activity it gets load. I stayed on the Ocean side. It was quite the entire 5 days i stayed there. Hooters web site posted that the taxi ride from the airport was around $ how WRONG. The airport is only 2.5 miles and no matter what cab you take it will be around $. Overall we had a great time staying in the hotel and playing the games in the casino. MGM is right across the raod, excaliber, tropicana, and new new all within a 5 min walk. Be carefull not to fall for the "tour" tables outside the excaliber. We did and it wasn't to bad. They take you on a tour to a time share and try EVERYTHING to get you to buy. They say 2-3 hours. lol. Plan on 5 hours. We payed $, took the tour, and got a free buffet, trip to top of stratosphere, and a show called american superstars. Well worth the $. Oh ya, don't drink the water in the hotel room unless you want to get billed $ for one bottle. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone that likes a laid back place.
