For my first trip to Vegas my friend and I just randomly picked this hotel. It is at the very beginning of the strip so walking is out of the option but the bus system runs twenty four hours a day and is only like seven dollars for an all day pass. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but I still felt safe. I loved that the hotel had two different restaurants inside to choose from...these came in handy. The staff were not the nicest but we didnt spend too much time at the hotel anyway. The rooms are not the nicest but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay the Stratosphere will be just fine for you!

So I just got back today for my trip to Las Vegas and Stratophere was names one of the best we had booked the remodeled rooms think oh these rooms are going to be great it did not look new there was stuff that was broken! The last night there the people next to us was playing their music so loud we had to call down stairs and they had been called on again through out the night #40not by us#41! However the staff was very nice and other then the quotremodeledquot small room it was very nice!

We were promised a newly remodeled room, with a king bed and widescreen TV. We got there and we were put in one of the old rooms, dirty old carpet, could not turn around in the bathroom, (the door just barely miss the toilet when you closed it) and 2 quenn beds. We stayed with a group and most of them got the nicer rooms at the same price and a regular size bathroom, which was my main complaint and everything else we were promised. Well we complained, they switch our rooms all right but the only difference was the bed and TV same crappy old bathroom which I cared most about. Plus the location you feel like you are in the bad part of town, away from everything. If you stay here it's best to have a car, you really don't want to walk anywhere from here. I'd rather pay more for a nicer room and location. I was so unhappy with the customer service that I would not give them anymore of my money by gambling or eating here.

03/28/2011The stratosphere is location at the beginning of the las vegas strip (that we liked)....if you want to be in the middle of all of the noise ...
The Stratosphere is location at the beginning of the Las Vegas strip (that we liked)....if you want to be in the middle of all of the noise and traffic at Cesar's Palace (BREATHE TAKING). Transportation is good the buses offer a daily pass for $*. These buses will take up & down the strip all the way into downtown.

Hate Las Vegas, but promised son a road trip and Chriss Angel show. Craved a quite clean room and this hotel came through. I expected drunks running up and down the hall at all hours, but it was QUIET in the room and halls! The casino was smoky and noisy, but that's Vegas. The breakfast buffet offered superb value and many dining choices. Would stay again and recommend it to others.
