Over all the hotel was great. They had a great live band in the lounge area. friendly barteders and dealers. Nascar cafe was really good. Two mthings that I did not like and I strongly suggest they change is the late night specials in the cafe. They use to have great specials, since the relocation of the cafe, there are no more late night specials. The other area that needs improvement is the pool. My wife and I went swimming and we only stood in the pool no more then 5 minutes. The water was very, very dirty. It was full of hair and to tell you the truth the water wasn't even blue. The best part of the hotel and casino was in the $* area. They have $* beer, $* hot dogs, and $* blackjack. We would stay at the hotel again, we just will not be visiting the pool.

Sahara is an older hotel but it was clean and well worth considering for your next stay. Location is a drawback but the monorail is right there and will take you to casinos that are in the middle all the action.

The Worst Hotel Experience EVER!!!
06/20/2010Do not stay here*** this hotel is dirty (our room had pubic hair in the bathroom that the supervisor said it was left there by their maintenance dept) ...
***DO NOT STAY HERE*** This hotel is dirty (our room had pubic hair in the bathroom that the supervisor said it was left there by their maintenance dept) Their staff is rude and abusive, The hotel's General Manager lied about their rooms right to my face, and when I pointed out that he was lying he STILL kept lying to cover up the first lie! There was a leak in my batroom that went unfixed my whole stay and caused me to slip and fall, and the response I got when I reported my accident was to have housekeeping clean it up! I was denied medical attention and was NOT discounted a penny on my room rate! HORRIBLE hotel! I will NEVER return here!

Beds were OK, room was clean but seemed very old as was the bathroom. Never was given the free things as advertised, i.e the ride etc.It did not fit a 3-star rating. I would pay a little more for something a little nicer. Thanks for your intrest with my stay.
