Nice place to stay close to the Grand Canyon. Easy to find, ample parking, lit well at night. Employees were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The beds were very comfortable, though a little high. The room had a desk and table, large flat-screen TV, small coffee maker, and a refrigerator. The free buffet breakfast was excellent! Plenty of good things to eat, and when we went back for seconds thay had new things. We had enough energy to hike and didn't get hungry for lunch until early afternoon. We didn't try their regular dining room, the pool, exercise room, or the bowling alley. We have just a few complaints. Our door hardly ever opened on the first try, even though the light was green. The hallway could have been vacuumed more frequently. Our room had a few random splotches of paint where it didn't belong, and most of the trip strips in the bathroom were peeling up, as well as the corners of the baseboards (carpeting). The threshold to the bathroom was uneven and coming up on the edge as well. The toilet paper dispenser was placed in an ackward place. It took quite a while to connect to the internet with our computer, and the directions in the room didn't match exactly what we had to do.

We stayed three nights (3/13/2011-3/15/2011) while visiting the Grand Canyon and were pleasently surprised by our stay at this hotel. We have five of us in a room and it was big enough and we got a rollaway bed with no problem. The included "continental" breakfast included eggs and meat so it was more than we expected. The AAA rate was $* per night so nothing we looked at in the park was close. We think the room was recently renovated with a new flat screen TV. The only negatives was the cable TV didn't have Disney channel and the wireless internet was a little slow and flakey. But, since our main purpose was to see the GC these were only minor inconvieniences. For the money, it would be hard to beat this hotel. - ABC

This was a great spot. We had a great time they had: free breakfast which was great, free WiFi that actually worked, great pub in the basement, clean rooms. It was very close to the canyon as well. The only thing I would say was put the actually address into the gps Bev use if you follow the best western signs you will go to another hotel, n.other the Squire inn.

We were not allowed to check in until after 4pm. The reservation indicated 2 adults although the reservation confirmation was for 4 (they said it was Travel Website mistake). We were given a handicap room (none of us are handicap, Travel Website again??) with the shower head set at about 4 feet for showering sitting down (not very comfortable). There were only 2 sets of towels (see reservation comment) and the person who brought us two additional sets of towels seemed rude. The Pool was "Closed for the Season" although the outside temperature was pool worthy. The buffet breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. Two of us used the exercise room and that was also ok. Although the beds and bathroom appeared clean there was evidence of other areas in the room that made it seem dirty (dried splatters of ??? on the glass of the pictures). Also, the liquid handsoap and liquid body soap dispensers were both empty! We only stayed one night (thank goodness!!)!!
